Install the beta, choose Continue with ChatGPT, then connect your Stellaris save folder. Already using Companion? Open Config → Chat in Companion → ChatGPT.

    THE SMALL PRINT

    A beta worth knowing about.

    ChatGPT sign-in is available in 1.1.0-beta.1. Stable 1.0 remains available. The connection uses your ChatGPT plan allowance; Companion offers a lower-usage model option and a link to your usage information.

    • Raw save files stay on your computer. Your question and relevant extracted campaign context are sent to OpenAI for generation.
    • Gemini, OpenRouter, and local connections are still available.
