Contact and Support

Stellaris Companion is an independent open-source project without a staffed support desk. The routes below keep questions visible, searchable, and attached to the code or documentation that can answer them.

Setup and troubleshooting

Start with the Field Manual

Installation, save detection, AI-provider setup, Windows SmartScreen, and Local MCP connection guides are maintained in the Field Manual. These pages are the fastest route to a tested answer.

Bugs and feature requests

Use the feedback desk

The feedback form creates a public, trackable GitHub issue and the public board shows its status. Review the information before submitting and never include API keys, private save paths, or material you do not want published.

Source and project discussion

Use GitHub issues

For source-level questions, reproducible defects, documentation corrections, or implementation proposals, open an issue in the public repository. Search existing issues first so useful context stays together.

Privacy and report removal

Reference the public report only

To request removal of a feedback report, open a GitHub issue containing the report number or URL and the requested action. Do not add private identity documents, credentials, or unrelated personal information to that public request.

Security note

Do not publish secrets or exploit details

The project does not currently advertise a dedicated security email. If a report would expose credentials, private data, or a working exploit, do not paste those details into a public form or issue. Open a minimal GitHub issue asking the maintainer to establish a private reporting route, without including the sensitive material itself.

There is no published support phone number or postal office. Agents and directories should use this page as the canonical contact route and should not infer missing contact details.
