Stellaris Companion 1.0Your AI. Your Campaigns. Your Strategic Council.

Version 1.0 gives you more control over every part of Stellaris Companion. Choose the AI provider and model that suit you, keep previous campaigns organized and recoverable, and receive more trustworthy advice built from the evidence in your current save.

Highlights

What Changed in 1.0.0

AI

Choose Your AI

Use Gemini, run locally with Ollama or LM Studio, connect OpenRouter, or bring another compatible endpoint for both Advisor and Chronicle.

HISTORY

Manage Campaign History

Search, rename, trash, restore, or clean up old campaigns without putting the currently loaded campaign or its Chronicle at risk.

EVIDENCE

Trust the Briefing

Advisor and Chronicle responses stay closer to recorded campaign events, verified game mechanics, and evidence from the current save.

AI Providers

Choose where your intelligence runs

Gemini remains the simplest starting point, but it is no longer the only one. Stellaris Companion 1.0 can use Ollama, LM Studio, OpenRouter, or another compatible endpoint for both Advisor and Chronicle.

  • Discover available models before committing to one.
  • Check the connection and structured-response support without sending campaign data.
  • Run locally with Ollama or LM Studio, or choose a remote provider.
  • Keep existing Chronicle chapters readable when the selected provider is unavailable.
Campaign History

Your campaign archive, under control

Campaign History makes long-running and frequently restarted galaxies easier to manage without treating routine cleanup as an irreversible operation.

  • Search and rename previous campaigns.
  • Move campaigns to Trash and restore them later.
  • Find empty or duplicate starts for faster cleanup.
  • Reset a Chronicle without deleting the underlying campaign history.
  • Protect the currently loaded campaign from accidental deletion.
Grounded Guidance

Advice grounded in the campaign you are playing

Version 1.0 strengthens the evidence behind both strategic briefings and campaign stories, reducing stale interpretations and invented details.

  • Updated guidance reflects current Stellaris 4.4 mechanics.
  • Populations, diplomacy, dormant powers, L-Gates, Trade, and Nomad economies are interpreted more reliably.
  • War assessments consider battles, occupation, and capital control instead of relying on a single signal.
  • Chronicle chapters stay closer to recorded events and recover more reliably from incomplete model responses.
First Contact

A clearer path to the first briefing

First-run setup now guides players through choosing an AI provider, finding a model, and connecting Stellaris saves. Everyday settings are easier to understand while technical details remain available when troubleshooting is needed.

  • Provider-aware onboarding helps each player choose a suitable setup.
  • Advisor, Chronicle, and campaign controls use clearer everyday language.
  • Campaign and chapter navigation makes the active story easier to follow.
  • The complete Version 1 experience is available across all seven supported languages.
